Privacy policy

Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your personal data.

Your personal data will be collected, processed and used by Sneakerlaclasse only in accordance with the requirements of applicable data protection law. Our data protection practice is therefore in accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation "DSGVO" and the German Data Protection Adaptation and Implementation Act EU ("BDSG-neu").

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person (Art. 4 No. 1 DSGVO). This includes, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address and all inventory data that you provide to us during registration and when creating your customer account. Statistical data or anonymized data that we collect, for example, when you visit our web store and that cannot be directly linked to your person do not fall under this.

When you buy something from our store as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically obtain your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us learn more about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): with your consent, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for delivery, or return a purchase, we agree that we will collect and use that information only for that specific reason.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, such as marketing, we will either ask you directly for your explicit consent or give you the opportunity to say no.

How can I withdraw my consent?

If you change your mind after registering, you can withdraw your consent to contact us for further collection, use or disclosure of your information at any time by contacting us via email at info@sneakerlaclasse.com or via postal mail:

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored via Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose to use a direct payment portal to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card information. It is encrypted by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After the transaction is completed, your transaction data is deleted.

All direct payment gateways comply with PCI-DSS standards administered by the PCI Security Standards Council, a collaborative effort of brands such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

The PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card data by our store and its service providers.

For more information, you can also read Shopify's Terms of Service (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) or Privacy Policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).

SECTION 5 - Use of Google Analytics

This website uses the service "Google Analytics", which is offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyze website usage by users. The service uses "cookies" - text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization is used on this website. The IP address of the user is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. Under the terms of the data sharing agreement between the website operators and Google Inc., Google Inc. uses the collected information to evaluate website usage and website activity and to provide services related to internet usage.
You have the option of preventing the cookie from being stored on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. It is not guaranteed that you can access all features of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.
Furthermore, you can use a browser plugin to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to and used by Google Inc. Here you can find the corresponding plugin.
Here you can find more information about the use of data by Google Inc.

SECTION 6 - Use of Instagram social plugins.

On our website, so-called social plugins ("plugins") are used by Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram"). The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an "Instagram camera". You can find an overview of the Instagram plugins and their appearance here: http://blog.instagram.com/post/36222022872/introducing-instagram-badges
When you call up a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Instagram. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged into Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can directly assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Instagram" button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there. The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed there to your contacts.
For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Instagram, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Instagram's data protection information: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388/
If you do not want Instagram to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Instagram plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker "NoScript" (http://noscript.net/).

SECTION 7 - Sharing of personal data.

In order to process payments, we pass on your payment data to the credit institution commissioned with the payment.

In general, the third party vendors we use will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary for them to provide the services they provide to us.
However, certain third party providers, such as payment gateways and other payment processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we encourage you to read their privacy policies so that you can understand how your personal information is processed by them.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry standard practices to ensure that it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
